The Los Alamos Days conference is held every year in order to maintain regular contact between the Applied Mathematics Program and the Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona, the Mathematics Department at the University of New Mexico, the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory and both the Mathematics Department and the Mathematical, Computational & Modeling Science Center at Arizona State University. This meeting provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, present new findings, and meet new people (postdocs, professors, and graduate students).
